A collection of petite, mustard yellow colored trinkets and treasures to warm up a cold January afternoon!
Its about that time to start getting creative with gift wrapping ideas! This little gift bag was really fun (and easy!) to make at the last minute. Here is what you will need……..
a plain colored gift bag
wrapping paper (the sturdier, the better)
glue stick
a variety of ribbon (i like to mix twine, hemp or other natural rope in with my glitzy holiday ribbon)
a stapler
tape
filler (raffia, tissue paper, shredded wrapping paper, etc…)
First, cut out shapes from a small piece of your wrapping paper and use the glue stick to adhere them to the gift bag. You can use ribbon, fabric and more to decorate the front of the bag. Just remember to keep it simple. There will be a lot going on once the wrapping is complete! Next, cut a long strip of wrapping paper. approx. 1 1/2 feet long. Fold this strip up like an accordion and staple it in the middle. Fold in half, and tape center pieces together. Once you spread this open, you should have a half circle. Tape the corner of each side to the inside top of the gift bag, fill with raffia (or other material) and top with a bow made from assorted ribbons!!!!

Here is another easy and fabulous way to make your gift wrapping look great! Just use butcher paper for a basic background, and spruce it up with strips of frayed fabric, twine and a big bow as a focal point for a charming and rustic take on the holidays!!!!! Enjoy!
